The Plot Thickens
Riteish Deshmukh plays a crucial role, portraying a whistleblower who takes on the corrupt practices of the pharmaceutical industry. The story centers around Prakash, a Deputy Medicine Controller in the Medicine Authority of India, who challenges a powerful multinational pharmaceutical company, Forever Cure Pharma, after three people lost their lives during its drug trials. The story gets darker as Praksh confronts the manipulative CEO, portrayed by Pavan Malhotra, on a quest for justice.

This drama is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The series features Riteish Deshmukh, Pavan Malhotra, Anshul Chauhan and Akshat Chauhan in pivotal roles. Reteish’s Journey From Bollywood to OTT
Riteish started his Bollywood journey with his debut film “Tujhe Meri Kasam,” alongside Genelia D’Souza. Although his debut film failed to impress the audiences, Riteish made a comeback with “Masti” in 2004, the film surely impressed the audiences and critics and earned him his first IIFA Award for Best Comedian. He continued to spread his charm and versatility with hits like “Kya Kool Hai Hum,” “Housefull” and “EK Villain,” where he surprised and impressed his audiences with his first negative role.
Riteish ventured into production with the Marathi film “Balak Palak” in 2013, which followed his debut as an actor in Marathi Cinema with the action packed “Lai Bhaari.” This film was a blockbuster and fortyfied his status as a versatile actor and producer.
Personal Life and Career Highlights
Riteish is the son of late Vilasrao Deshmukh, former Union Minister and Chief Minister of Maharashtra,he was born in Maharashtra’s Latur. Riteish decided to study architecture before pursuing acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. He married his long time girlfriend and co actor Genelia D’Souza in 2012, and now the couple are proud parents of two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.
