1. Lucky Baskhar:
Directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar is a Telugu language-period-crime-drama film. It stars Dulquer Salmaan as Lucky Baskhar, a lower-middle-class man whose difficult life turns into misfortune after he starts engaging in scams. The film is now streaming on Netflix.
2. Amaran:
Amaran is a Tamil language action-war-drama flick helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film follows the poignant story of India’s brave hero Major Mukund Varadarajan, who fought tooth and nail against enemies but ultimately lost his life. His story is narrated by his wife Indu Vijay Verghese (Sai Pallavi), who talks about her husband’s fascinating life journey and shares how he was to get the coveted Ashoka Chakra award from the Indian government. However, on the way, he is killed brutally by his enemies, and posthumously he ends up receiving the award. The film, Amaran, has been streaming on Netflix since December 5.
3. Jigra:
Starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in lead roles, Jigra is a Hindi action-thriller-drama film. The film is helmed by Vasan Bala. The plot follows the brave elder sister Satya (Alia) who goes to any extent and goes down the wrong road too just to get her younger brother Ankur safely out of the foreign prison back home in India. Jigra is to debut on Netflix by December 6.
4. Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video:
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is a Hindi-language comedy-drama flick. The film follows an engaging plot of a married couple Vicky and Vidya whose happily married lives turn upside down and things take a turn for worse after their sex tape video is missing. The film will be premiering on Netflix by December 7.
