Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is a Hindi TV channel in India that started in 1995. It is owned by Culver Max Entertainment, which is a part of Sony Pictures. The channel started initially with many drama and reality shows. Sony Entertainment Television (SET) also showed Disney Channel programs and movies until 2003. Popular shows like CID and Crime Patrol aired on this channel. In 2006, Sony made Indian versions of Big Brother (called Bigg Boss) and Fear Factor, but these later got moved to Colors TV. The channel’s logo changed over the years: green in 2001, purple in 2016, and in 2022, it was updated to match its OTT platform SonyLIV logo.
