Famous producer Ektaa Kapoor has announced the much-awaited supernatural TV show Naagin 7, which is going to come back on Colors TV and stream on Jio Cinema.
Ektaa shared the news on Instagram by posting a video from a meeting with her team working on the show. Ektaa kept it simple, writing: “Naagin 7 !!!!!!!!”
In the video, Ektaa sat with her team, discussing plans for the new season. Pointing to a team member, she funnily said, “Whoever wants to know where Naagin is, that’s the girl.” When asked about Naagin’s whereabouts, the team member playfully replied, “Naagin is behind the mountains, under the hills.”
While brainstorming ideas for the show’s theme and tagline, Ektaa stressed the need to make it grander than ever. She said with excitement, “Time to create the best of the best, super grand Naagin.” She added, “I’ve already made different kinds of powerful Naagins. Now we need to make something truly ultimate, thus calling the Naagin to be Sarva Sresht, Param Sresht, Aadi Sresht, Sarva Super Sresht, Fantabulous Sresht Naagin”.
Excited fans filled the comment section by writing how they can’t wait to know the actor’s name.
All this while, Ektaa Kapoor has kept quiet about who will play the lead role in Naagin 7. In earlier seasons, actresses like Mouni Roy, Surbhi Chandna, and Tejasswi Prakash have played the iconic role.
Fans are eagerly waiting to know more about the cast and updates on the much-anticipated supernatural romantic show. Some reports suggested Priyanka Chahar Choudhary from Udaariyaan, but there are no official confirmations.
In earlier seasons of the Naagin series, Ektaa had revealed the lead actress for the shows during the Bigg Boss finale, however, this time she didn’t follow that tradition.
