Would you like to watch your favorite celebrities show off their hidden kitchen skills on-screen? Well, Celebrity MasterChef is all set to entertain its viewers on Sony TV / Sony LIV OTT from 27 January 2025 at 8 PM (Monday to Friday). This time you will witness TV stars to internet sensations, all set for a yummy and fun journey in order to win the title of Celebrity MasterChef 2025.
Here are the Contestants list:
1) Gaurav Khanna
A renowned Hindi TV actor who was last seen in Star Plus hit show Anupamaa as Anuj Kapadia.
2) Tejasswi Prakash
One of the leading and highest-paid actresses of Hindi television, Tejasswi Prakash had won Bigg Boss 15 and was last seen in Naagin 6. She also made a special appearance in Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment and has worked in music videos.
3) Dipika Kakar
Dipika Kakar is a renowned Hindi television actress who is known for her performances in Sasural Simar Ka and also for becoming Bigg Boss 12 winner.
4) Rajiv Adatia
An internet personality, Instagram influencer and YouTuber.
5) Nikki Tamboli
Known for participating in reality shows such as Bigg Boss 14 where she emerged as 2nd-runner up and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. She was last seen in the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 in 2024 where she became the 2nd-runner up.
6) Archana Gautam
Memorable for her stints in Bigg Boss 16, Entertainment Ki Raat Housefull, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, and Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment.
7) Usha Nadkarni
A veteran Hindi and Marathi television actress renowned for her iconic role of Savitri in Pavitra Rishta. She was last seen as Aaji in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye serial on Zee TV.
8) Abhijeet Sawant
A musician by passion and profession, he won the first season of Indian Idol. He was the first runner-up of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star and finished third in Asian Idol. Recently, he was seen in Bigg Boss Marathi 5 and also ranked as the first runner-up.
9) Chandan Prabhakar
A comedian by heart and profession, Chandan was seen in The Kapil Sharma Show.
10) Ayesha Jhulka
Bollywood actress Ayesha Jhulka, known for Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was last seen in a couple of web series.
11) Kabita Singh
Kabita Singh’s journey from a banker to a celebrated YouTuber is really inspiring. Through her channel, Kabita’s Kitchen, she has built a community that celebrates the simplicity and authenticity of Indian home cooking.
13) Faisal Shaikh
Faisal Shaikh, known as Mr. Faisu, is an internet personality and has participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. He has also worked in a web series Bang Baang. An avid traveler, Faisal has over 55 million followers on social media.
Judges
Celebrity MasterChef 2025, a spin-off of MasterChef India will be hosted by Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar, and Vikas Khanna.
Promo
The promo for Celebrity MasterChef 2025 starts with Farah Khan introducing a dish in her unique style, followed by Chef Ranveer Brar guiding contestants through a recipe. The real twist comes when Farah challenges the stars to create an ice cream cake that literally bursts into flames. The promo’s caption sets the tone: “Jinhe dekh kar pura India seeti bajata tha, ab un sabki seeti bajegi! Dekhiye Celebrity MasterChef, COMING SOON, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par!”
In another promo of Celebrity MasterChef released today by Sony TV on Instagram, actress Dipika Kakar can be seen taking up an important issue on the show. She shared her views on the representation of home cooks. The promo had the caption, “Har aurat jo kitchen ki chaar deewaron tak simat gayi thi, un sabki kahaniyan Dipika ke zariye saamne aayengi. Kya MasterChef kitchen ka pressure tod dega, ya woh apne junoon se ladengi?” (Translation – Every woman whose story was confined within the four walls of the kitchen will now be brought to light through Dipika. Will the pressure of the MasterChef kitchen break her, or will she fight back with her passion?)
While the exact premiere date and time are still kept under wraps, fans are looking forward to get more updates. Rumor is going around that there will be more stars joining in the existing line-up.
