Victim Ya Victor’s Episode 1 Review
In the premiere episode, Comedy Royale: Legends at War, fans of celebrity comedians become part of the action as they join their favorite captains in bizarre, brain-tickling tasks.
Performances:
Episode 1 starts with Rahul Dua’s signature humor as he introduces comedian Rahul Subramanian to the audience with the dialogue, “If laughter is the best medicine then Rahul Subramanian is the compounder.” Then Dua points to a fan contestant Kavish and jokes about his looks, “Are you a part-time murderer?” The playful banter sets the tone for a rollercoaster of laughter. Meanwhile, Sumukhi Suresh keeps the energy high, especially when she mock-scolds her fans after losing a task: “Focus on the tasks and not on comedy, people! I’m getting shocks here!” Rahul Dua’s commentary adds another layer of fun, especially when he wonders aloud about the writer’s creative process: “God only knows what they eat while coming up with these wacky task names.” Rahul Subramanian gives a quote by seeing his fan’s performance, “If someone gives their best with true heart and courage, success will follow.”
Series Quality:
Victim Ya Victor’s Episode 1 has interesting yet weird tasks such as “Loji Emoji”, “Moze Hi Moze”, and “Who Let the Dogs Out”. With all the tasks done towards the climax of the episode, Rahul Dua finds both teams having a tie. So, he introduces another quick task where Sumukhi emerges as the winner, and Rahul Subramanian gets drenched in colorful water as the “official victim.” The simple-looking games turn into a laughter riot. So, the silly tasks had genuine efforts by the contestants, thus making the series an engaging watch from start to finish.
