Review (Episode 1: Lady Death)
Positive Aspects
Medusa web series is full of drama, betrayal, and mystery, making it exciting to watch.
Bárbara is a strong and smart character, determined to find out the truth by teaming up with Detective Danger.
The story cleverly compares her ruthless family to snakes, just like the mythical Medusa. Each family member is fighting for control of the business empire, showing no mercy.
The beautiful locations such as calm seas, green landscapes, and tall city buildings definitely make the series visually appealing.
The mystery of who tried to kill Bárbara keeps the suspense high and may make you watch the further episodes.
Negative Aspects
The show has too many steamy scenes inserted from the start till the end that don’t add to the story and feel unnecessary.
Some characters are too dramatic, making their actions feel unrealistic.
The detective’s name Danger Carmelo sounds too silly for a serious crime drama.
The family drama sometimes takes over the business mystery, making it feel more like a daily serial on TV.
Series Quality:
Medusa is a fast-paced and entertaining drama but it focuses more on shocking twists and dramatic fights than on meaningful storytelling. It’s fun to watch but doesn’t feel very realistic.
Performances:
Juana Acosta does a great job playing Bárbara, showing both her strength and vulnerability.
Manolo Cardona plays the detective well, though his character feels a bit too cliché.
The other actors bring their characters to life, but some performances feel exaggerated, especially when they are hiding something that may look against Barbara.
Verdict:
If you enjoy dramatic shows full of secrets, betrayals, and family fights, Medusa is a quick interesting watch. But if you prefer realistic and serious crime stories, this might not be for you. SKIP it if you’d rather avoid unnecessary adult scenes on your big screen.
