Highlights
The first trailer for The Wheel of Time Season 3 is titled Thank the Light! which has been released on Amazon Prime Video and guess what, it is quite thrilling. The latest season streams on Prime Video from 13 March 2025 and introduces us to a fresh cast and crew along with some characters returning from the earlier seasons. So, all you can see are some mind-blowing locations based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy book The Shadow Rising.

Storyline of the series:
Five young villagers find a huge change in their lives when a mysterious, powerful woman arrives. She claims one of them is part of an ancient prophecy and there exists a person who could save the world or destroy it. Now these five youngsters must decide if they can trust her or even each other because the Dark One threatens to break free and bring about the Last Battle.

After defeating Ishamael in Season 2, Rand reunites with his friends at Falme and is named the Dragon Reborn. But in Season 3, new dangers rise. The White Tower is breaking apart, the Black Ajah is causing troubles, and old enemies return to the Two Rivers. The Forsaken are also closing in, mainly Lanfear whose connection with Rand could lead them both to Light or Darkness. As Rand’s power grows more dangerous, he starts to lose himself. Even Moiraine and Egwene who were once his closest allies, barely recognize him. Once teacher and student, they must now join forces to stop Rand from turning to the Dark, no matter what it takes.
The Wheel of Time Season 3 Trailer Review
Positive Aspects:
- You will really fall in love with the one-liners if you carefully listen to them, each looks like a motivational quote that you may relate to if you are going through a bad day.
- The trailer is quite gripping and kept me hooked to watch without wanting to skip any scene or move forward.
- It has a stunning visual story that may make you want to know the back story of each character and why they have landed here.
- The trailer’s promising plot inspires me to explore more of its previous seasons and read its books.
Negative Aspects:
As a newcomer to the series, I found the many characters and subplots confusing without knowledge of the books.
Verdict: (4/5)
An extra star for the sharp dialogues and thrilling background score that kept me hooked till the end.
