Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for the live-action movie How to Train Your Dragon. The film is directed by Dean DeBlois who handles the creative aspects of the interesting animated trilogy. DeBlois is a three-time Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner and with this movie How to Train Your Dragon, he aims to integrate his filmmaking style. Watch the film in theatres on 13 June 2025.

Review
The new trailer for How to Train Your Dragon provides a thrilling combination of bonding, action, and humor. The friendship between Hiccup and Toothless feels quite interesting, while the sharp character introductions, during the trailer and at the end, build curiosity. Mason Thames and Nico Parker lead the trailer with their own charm. Like, Thames rocks the role of Hiccup, and Nico Parker adds bold energy as Astrid. Gerard Butler and Nick Frost add elements of fun and humor. The supporting cast, including Julian Dennison and Peter Serafinowicz, also do their part well with their punchy introductions.
Interestingly, the background music kept me hooked even more than the dragon visuals. Yeah, however, the character introductions, which were filled with punchlines and suspense made me keep watching the trailer till the end. What I found the most amusing was the ending with the Terrible Terror’s hilarious appearance like I found it quite surprising in the intense trailer of the live-action adventure movie.

The new trailer of How to Train Your Dragon looks quite promising and sets high expectations, which leaves viewers like me quite inquisitive to watch Hiccup and Toothless’s journey on the big screen.
