The Eye is a British psychological thriller directed by Daphne Schmon and written by Emily Carlton. This film is special and it was created by an all-female team and is the first eco-friendly movie made in Greece, thanks to FingerPrint Content (@fingerprintcontentltd) and Greenshoot. The film stars Shruti Haasan and Mark Rowley. The film was shown at the London Independent Film Festival on October 12, 2023, and also at the Greek International Film Festival. The psychological thriller The Eye premieres on February 27, 2025 at WENCH Film Festival in Mumbai. The film will soon be released in theatres in 2025. Filmed in beautiful locations in Athens and Corfu, the movie uses Greece’s stunning yet mysterious locations to improve its suspenseful atmosphere.

The Eye Storyline
In The Eye, Diana (played by Shruti Haasan) travels to a remote island where her husband Felix (Mark Rowley) gets drowned tragically. Seeking closure, she plans to scatter his ashes but soon becomes involved in the island’s mysterious Evil Eye ritual, which is an ancient tradition that suggests Felix could return but at a dangerous cost. As Diana tries to overcome her grief and explore the supernatural, and disturbing island secrets, she must face the chilling consequences of her choices.
