The Brutalist Storyline
The film The Brutalist narrates the story of László Toth (which is played by Adrien Brody), a talented architect who escapes post-war Europe and moves to America. He tries to rebuild his life and his marriage with his wife, Erzsébet (which is played by Felicity Jones). In Pennsylvania, his skills attracted a strong industrialist named Harrison Lee Van Buren who decided to provide him a big opportunity to reshape the architectural world. But do you know that success comes with a heavy price?
Awards and World Premiere
The Brutalist organized its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival last September and it got great reviews. Director Brady Corbet won the Silver Lion for Best Director at the festival.
