Renowned widely as ‘The Prince of Darkness’, Ozzy Osbourne of ‘Black Sabbath’ announces his retirement through one Final Show in Birmingham with his Bandmates and friends seemingly marking the end of an era for the 76 Year Old Singer.
While speaking to BBC, Sharon Osbourne shared that her husband who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Spinal Injuries will deliver one final performance as a ‘Full Stop’ closure for his career, thanking his fans. “Ozzy didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there’s no been no full stop. This is his full stop.” reported BBC.
The heavy metal pioneers who are renowned worldwide will perform a day long festival at Villa Park, Birmingham and have a stellar lineup of other artists and bands joining for a fundraising musical event that includes Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira and Anthrax. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Lommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will reunite after 20 Years On Stage for the fundraising event.
The Concert was announced by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s Tony Lommi titled ‘’Back To The Beginning ‘’. The proceeds and funds from the show will support Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice, a Children’s Hospice supported by Aston Villa.
The Plethora of other artists include – Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God and Mastodon and also features a “supergroup”, with stars like Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen and Tom Morello.
