Watch Out for these Netflix 2025 upcoming movie releases and mark your calendars and get those popcorn for a worthy binge session with your buddies. 

The Electric State

A fusion between Live Action and Animation that is set in the futuristic and retro styled 90s premise where failed receptive cartoonistic robots are in exile as the time of them being inclusive and in peace with the society failed. An orphaned teenager Michelle sets off to find her lost, believed to be dead younger brother along with a small-time smuggler Keats and his sidekick robot Herman.

Wake Up Dead Man: Knives Out Mystery 

Benoit Blanc, the curious and instinctive cut throat investigator is ready to solve one of the toughest cases of his career, now written and directed by Rian Johnson. Introduced in the 2019’s and then resumed his investigation in Glass Onion with a boiling ending makes way for a new beginning for Blanc in his next.

Happy Gilmore 2 

Resurrection of Happy Gilmore after 3 decades as Adam Sandler wears the golf green jersey once again, joining him is the OG Cast and some crew along with the new faces and unexpected surprises. The movie is highly anticipated right from the buzzes to the teaser.

Frankenstein 

What’s more interesting than the immortal Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein being adapted for the thousandth time? Guillermo Del Toro is making his own version with a stunning cast and crew. The story of talented Victor Frankenstein, an intelligent and pompous scientist who is making a new creature thoroughly moderated from his vision leading to the tragic end of his mind and his creation.

Trolls 2

Released in 2022, the Trolls movie became the highest watched Non- English movie and a huge hit for a monster film based on mythical trolls in Norway. The movie follows Nora, a young Paleontologist who is hired by the government along with several other scientists to investigate the fatal mining accident. The disaster is assumed to be a methane outburst turns out to be mythological trolls coming alive.

RIP

The talented duo Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are rejoining for ‘Narc’ Director Joe Carnahan’s Netflix Movie ‘RIP’, a crime thriller. Talking about the inspiration behind the film, Carnahan shared, “RIP came out of a deeply personal experience that my friend went through, both as a father and as head of tactical narcotics for the Miami Dade police department”.

The Woman In Cabin 10 

Simon Stone’s Netflix adaptation of Ruth Ware’s Novel that follows the story of a journalist on a travel assignment witnesses a fellow passenger being thrown off the boat in a luxury cruise voyage. Her word is not believed by anyone on deck as all of the passengers are refusing her story and labelling it as a fever dream while she refuses to give up, putting herself at risk in the middle of an ocean.
