In another new development today, according to a report by a leading regional entertainment portal, the producers and makers are now about to drop the extended version of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-led internationally blockbuster pan-Indian action-thriller drama film Pushpa 2: The Rule with an additional 20 minutes of unseen drama and narrative from January 11 across theatres in India and the world.
Amidst its success spree, audiences are in for a treat as an additional 20 minutes of footage will be attached to the film in theatres beginning on Saturday. This wildfire of Pushpa 2 will blaze for 20 more minutes in theatres by Saturday, Jan. 11.
About the Pushpa 2: Reloaded extended cut version of the film from Saturday and the details on the gritty scenes included:
Titled Pushpa 2: Reloaded version, the film will depict almost twenty minutes of additional footage alongside the original 200-minute footage on the 70 mm celluloid screens. After this addition, the film set a new record for being the longest critically acclaimed and commercially mammoth successful Indian crime-themed action-thriller-drama film with a three-hour and forty-minute duration. Moreover, the newly added footage will include comprehensive and spectacularly shot scenes from the Japan sequence. Initially, the makers had shared details about the riveting trailer of Pushpa 2. But it later got removed and edited from the theatrical release cut of the film.

The makers took to the official Instagram handle and announced this thrilling update for cinema lovers. Their captivating caption on the viral post read, “#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January. The WILDFIRE gets extra FIERY #Pushpa2Reloaded #Pushpa2 #WildFirePushpa.”
The timing of this reloaded version is very timed and strategic. The film will face tough and challenging competition in the Telugu states during Sankranthi. Major releases such as Ram Charan-led Game Changer, Nandamuri Balakrishna-led Daaku Maharaj, and Venkatesh Daggubati-led Sankranthiki Vasthunnam are set to clash during the festive season.
