Netflix dropped 15 New Indian Movies and Series under ‘Next On Netflix India’ 

Netflix India has announced the list of new movies and series lined up for 2025. From uncomplicated comedies to hustling thrillers, Netflix got it covered. Here’s the list of new Movies and Series.

Test, Nadaaniyan

A front runner in terms of providing unlimited choices of genres and content to stream at your will, Netflix India has exclusive and premium content. The streaming site just announced their ‘Next On Netflix’ lineup of movies and series that will be released or boosted up for a new season after the success of the prior. The list has several interesting stories from boisterous comedies to gripping thrillers, panning towards a variety of audience who crave new content every passing day. Here’s the full list of new movies and series streaming on Netflix India. 

Next On Netflix Movies

Jewel Thief – The Red Sun Chapter 

A Heist Thriller planned to secure an invaluable diamond called the ‘Red Sun’ which is placed in a high security and high facility locker. Two seasoned thieves who are confident in getting their hands on the diamond and their story towards stealing the said target is the story of Jewel Thief.

Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, Kunal kapoor, Gagan Arora

Toaster 

Rajkumar Rao and his wife Patralekha are venturing into production with the feature comedy ‘Toaster’ that follows a married couple played by Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra and a Toaster. Rajkumar Rao plays a cheapskate who finds ways to be miser and cut down expenses even by a rupee is forced to buy an expensive Toaster for a close relative’s marriage which is then called off. While the family and friends are focusing on the misery, the protagonist focuses on the pricey gift and goes to lengths to get it back.

Aap Jaisa Koi

A Periodic Romance starring the OG Loverboy R Madhavan is all that was lacking in the world. Set in a periodic time in the 20th century, two teachers – a cute one and a nerdy one fall in love. The French teacher who is a romantic at heart and the Sanskrit teacher who is hopeful are put together for a steady romance.

Nadaaniyan

Dharma Production is launching Ibrahim Ali Khan as a male lead in the upcoming Romantic Drama ‘Nadaaniyan’. The sneak peek looks every bit dreamy and dramatic as a Dharma film and is already taking over the internet.

Glory 

A Bloody Boxing story that follows a talented boxer who is training to achieve his Olympic Dream while his life is at crossroads and his rage is on its brink. WIll his path dissolve along the fury of his rage restrict his boxing hopes.

Cast: Divyendu, Suvinder Vickey, Pulkit Samrat. 

The Royals 

The story of modern day royals and their dramatic, lively and surprisingly wealthy life is captured while also focussing mainly on the Maharaja falling in love with a CEO who wears a retrospective coloured glass to look into the lives of these royals.

Cast: Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi

Test

An emotional and dramatic sports drama with a star struck cast, the story follows three or rather four people whose lives are intertwined and set in Chennai’s rich Cricket devotion. The characters go through huge hurdles that test their true resilience and strength in the face of impediments.

Super Subbu 

A Super Fun and Super Dramatic movie about this awkward and constricted guy named Super Subbu who along with his personal struggles is in search of a job which he gets. The only thing is he has to teach Sex Education to the people of Makhipur where the birth rate is out of proportion.

Saare Jahan Se Accha

Alive as a current wire, aware as a hunter, the spies are neither alive nor dead but just exist and more importantly exist along with the information. The spies during a periodical setting who are walking on a tightrope and have to gather information and valuable findings without slipping away or unveiling their identity is the story of Saare Jahan Se Accha.

Rana Naidu Season 2 

After the successful season and reception for the 2023 release, Rana Naidu returns now facing his father Naga Naidu who is out of prison after 15 years and wants to curb the wrong donuts of his son and mend their relationship in the coming season.

Delhi Crime: Season 3 

An Emmy Winning Indian Police Procedural Crime Drama that focuses on a startling and deadly crime every season and launches a deep investigation. The second season was also a huge success which sprouted a third season on Netflix.

Cast: SHefali Shah, Huma Qureshi, Rasika Dugal, Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht.

Kohrra Season 2  

A Police Procedural Crime Thriller series in Punjabi that in the first season revolves around the mystery of a Bridegroom who is found deceased just days before the marriage in a mysterious way, leaving a long police investigation.

Cast: Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Mona Singh. 

Mandala Murders 

Yash Raj Films’ mystical thriller series that follows two investigators who are roped in to solve a series of murders that are mysterious and brutal only to dig deeper and find a time traveling story of the past resulting in the crime of today. 

Director: Gopi Puthran 

Cast: Vaani Kapoor, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Surveen Chawla

Akka 

Set in a periodic premise where the Matriarchy is rich and thriving in India while a rebel plots their downfall and tries to contain their domination. The sneak peek unloads an action sparkling and purely bloody revengeful drama.

Cast: Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Apte, Tanvi Azmi. 

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter

A True Good Cop story that in its first leg saw SP Amit Lodha to regulate the infamous Ashok Mahto Gang which was active in the Sheikhpura, Nalanda and  Patna districts. His journey of taking them to justice and also navigating his personal life, the series is now boosted up to set in Bengal for season 2.
