Lust Stories
A Hindi language anthology film with a segment of four short films inspired by adventurous stories on love, lust and exploring self-sexual needs. Released on 15th June, 2018 is streaming on Netflix, is directed multiple directors including Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Aktar, Anurag Kashyap.
“Lust Stories,” a sequel to the anthology film “Bombay Talkies,” released in 2013, is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua, through their production houses Flying Unicorn Entertainment and RSVP.
The lust stories choose a bold topic to discuss nuances around lust amongst humans in the society. A segmented directed by Karan Johar, Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal are seen opposite to other. Kiara as Megha and Vicky as Paras, their story resolves Megha’s dissatisfaction in bed while Paras not being aware about the same. The story continues in the partners dispute and how at end the husband understand that a woman has more desire than just having a child. Kiara’s choice with her bold character, challenges societal norms by breaking misogyny and showcasing that women have sexual needs that should be accepted by their partners in Indian society.
Govinda Naam Mera
A comedy thriller movie released in 2022, directed and written by Shashank Khaitan, produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Bhumi Pednekar. With an offensive wife Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar), a girlfriend Suku (Kiara Advani), and a court case, Govinda Waghmare (Vicky Kaushal) can’t seem to catch a break. To top it all off, he’s now entangled in a murder scene. Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal share a notorious chemistry that so much spice to the screen. Their on-camera pairing strikes a perfect balance, blending genuine talent with passionate performances as hardworking actors.
