Khakee The Bengal Chapter trailer release: Neeraj Pandey starrer set for grand release this month

Produced by Friday Storytellers and directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ is the latest installment in the acclaimed Khakee franchise. It explores politics, gangs and the police system – set against the backdrop of Kolkata.

Khakee The Bengal Chapter release date

Set in the early 2000s, ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ is based on a terrific IPS officer Arjun Maitra as he challenges gangsters and politicians. Fearless and determined, he is adamant about upholding justice in a system plagued by corruption.

Speaking at the launch, Neeraj Pandey noted that Khakee is about larger-than-life conflicts, intense drama and nuanced characters. ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ is said to take the existing intensity to a much higher level.

Set against the backdrop of Kolkata, this upcoming crime thriller sees a relentless IPS officer challenging the socio-political landscape of the city. You can certainly expect intense performances and a hard-hitting storyline.

‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ premiers on Netflix on March 20. Considering the success of ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’, the Bengal edition is likely to capture audiences through its authenticity, gripping plot and stellar performances.
