Both Rupali and Gaurav are very much a part of the show and their characters are very important for the continuity of the show.
The rumors had intensified in the past few days especially with the speculations of time leap in the plot of the series. Many reports had gone on to state that fresh faces might be introduced to play young avatars of some characters such as Aadhya, the daughter of Anupamaa and Anuj.
Shahi said he was surprised about the origin of such rumors, he stated, “I don’t know where these rumors come from.” This statement can be seen as an assurance that fans are likely to continue watching Ganguly and Khanna in the show for some time now.
